Your Financial Health!

Are you thinking of buying and not sure whether you’re ready?  Are you wondering if you’re financially prepared for the task of home ownership?  The National Foundation for Credit Counseling at http://www.nfcc.org offers some great information and guidance including their recently launched MyMoneyCheckup TM, an on-line self-assessment tool designed to give the consumer more insight into their financial health and reported by KOMO News’ Herb Weisbaum:  http://www.komonews.com/news/consumer/133717273.html.

As a real estate professional, I firmly believe that the more you know, the less you have to fear.  Taking that first step into home ownership should be a pleasurable experience without the fear of unknowns.  Making the most of tools available to you can remove some of the unknowns or perhaps assist you with making positive corrections that will get you to the next level.

Stay in touch! Time counts!

Time is of the essence and the importance of taking this seriously cannot be over emphasized.  When you and your agent are in the middle of negotiations, being available by cell, text message, or email is vital.  Minutes matter!  Sometimes, just a quick “yes” or “no” is all that is needed to move to the next step.  Without communication, valuable time can be lost and a sale or purchase missed.   Make sure your agent knows how to reach you and the best method for doing so.
